Hi! My name is Dana. Before we wed, my sweetheart, Pauly, had promised a life of travel and glamour. And I concealed the fact that I’m feral. A 25 year long marriage based on a solid foundation of lies and deception has loads of juicy material for a hyper wife who loves to write.
I also enjoy focusing on our shared similarities as fellow human beings! Divisiveness, as a general outlook on life, is my least favorite thing. I like to think that infinite love energy is what we all truly are and we each have an inner voice based on love and unity. I imagine our inherently lovely nature as energy/spirit to be kinda like Obi Wan-Kenobi's description of The Force:
"The Force is what gives the Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together."
The energy of life is what turns us from tiny cells into giant, gorgeous hairy humans. This life/love energy makes our hearts beat, flowers bloom, the planets spin and all of life's magical goodness. However, because our energy appears to be contained in these separate-seeming human bodies and the ideas of lack and scarcity automatically arise with a body, I think we also have an inner voice based on fear and separateness and its various forms (worry, sadness, anger, trying too hard, etc.). You know...Dark Side hoohaw!
The inner divisiveness I feel when I listen to the voice of fear (inner bully) vs the wholeness of the voice of love (inner being) is what creates external divisiveness. This is a blog about these voices in my feral, perimenopausal head and the ridiculous, embarrassing things that happen, depending on which one I focus on.
Thanks for reading and commenting!
